Friday 19th September  7.15pm for 7.30pm start

"Brassicas"

                                    - Speaker Paul Corfield

Paul is a former specialist in root crops, specifically related to their commercial production.
He will be talking all about Brassicas, a family of vegetables that include well-known crops like cabbage, broccoli, kale & cauliflower.

Don’t forget the Best Stem from your Garden competition. There is a prize for the best stem, which can be a single, a multi flowered, foliage or a berried stem.

Garden Sculptures ( Wire)
 
                      - Speaker / demonstrator  David Wright

David is an experienced florist and NAFAS demonstrator.
(National Association of Flower arrangement Societies) 

Since creating his first swan out of wire for a charity floral demonstration, he has gone on to create over 150 different types of wire sculpture from Hares to Highland cows!

Don’t forget to bring the Best Stem from your Garden competition. 
There is a prize for the best stem, which can be a single, a multi flowered, foliage or a berried stem.
