Sonja Gaffers' Tropical Gardens at Hellesdon


This will be an exclusive personal tour of an inspiring garden featuring a fascinating mix of exotic & tropical plants. Sonja will be available to answer questions & will also provide tea & cakes.
For those who haven't visited before, Sonja's garden is a hidden gem, & her cakes are amazing! 


The cost for the visit is £10 for members, including Tea and cakes & £15 for non-members.

Sonja's Tropical Garden is approximately 400 m from the Norwich ring road towards Cromer on the A140.

We'll try to organise car sharing where possible. Please let us know if you need a lift.

There is parking along the road outside Sonja's address.

   "Fungi - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" 

 
Join us as Tony Leech returns to share his insights into the fascinating world of fungi. Tony is the Norfolk Recorder of Fungi and an award-winning conservationist. He has dedicated decades to recording and studying fungi, earning a reputation as a leading authority in his field. With a deep scientific understanding of the subject, Tony presents information that is both accessible and captivating, grounded in careful observation.

This event will be followed by a private foraging walk with Tony for members only, scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Pigneys Wood near North Walsham. Scroll down for details

This guided foray offers a rare opportunity to learn from one of the region's most respected fungi experts. Tony has dedicated decades to recording and studying fungi, earning a reputation as a leading authority in his field.
